Directions/Parking

The Township is located on 1703 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201 for GPS service, Mapquest or Google Maps.

• From I-26: take Exit for I-126 to Columbia, take Elmwood Exit, continue straight until Elmwood comes to an end at Bull Street, take a right onto Bull Street, continue 5 blocks to Taylor Street, take a left onto Taylor Street, The Township Auditorium is located 2 blocks on Taylor Street.
• From I-77: (which turns into 277), continue straight ahead on to Bull Street, turn left onto Taylor Street, The Township Auditorium is located 2 blocks on Taylor Street.
• From I-20: West: take 277 extension and follow directions for I-77.
• From I-20: East: take Columbia East Exit and follow directions for I-26.

There is street parking & parking available in local businesses lots surrounding The Township Auditorium (prices are determined by owners/operators).

ADA Accommodations

The Township Auditorium is committed to ensuring accessibility for all. To help everyone fully enjoy the facility and navigate the venue comfortably, we offer the following accommodations:

ENTRY

Access to the Township Auditorium box office and accessible entry into the Township Auditorium building can be made on the Henderson Street side of the facility, which is wheelchair accessible. The Henderson Street side of the facility is also available for easy drop-off and pick-up.

Once inside of the facility, elevator access to all floors is available.

PARKING

Currently, the Township Auditorium does not have a parking lot available for patron, guest, or public parking. However, parking spaces not owned or operated by the Township Auditorium are located street-side or on private property and are available to the public, which includes accessible parking on a first-come basis.

SEATING

Accessible seating, including wheelchair and companion seating, is available at various locations throughout the Township Auditorium. While accessible seating is generally available in the Orchestra and First Balcony sections, accessible seating location may depend on the seating layout for the event. Seating charts are available.

Event tickets for accessible seating can be purchased at the Township Auditorium box office Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm. To purchase tickets for accessible seating online, visit ticketmaster.com, select “filters” on the event of choice and click the “show accessible tickets” button.

RESTROOMS

Accessible facilities are conveniently located on each floor of the Township Auditorium.

ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES (ALS)

ALS devices are available for use during an event at no extra charge. Individuals may check out an ALS device from the Township Auditorium box office by leaving a driver’s license or valid form of identification and credit card (which will not be charged provided the device is returned in the same condition as received). ALS devices are available on a first-come basis.

INTERPRETATION SERVICES

Event interpretation services are available to those with a hearing disability. Please contact the Township Auditorium box office at 803-576-2350 or visit us in person during our normal box office business hours at least 3 weeks before the event to make arrangements.

SERVICE ANIMALS

The Township Auditorium is committed to ensuring individuals with service animals are properly supported while inside of the facility. Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, which accompany individuals are allowed inside of the facility. All other animals are prohibited.
